Beerfarm’s 10th Anniversary: A Decade of Beer, Events & Community in Metricup, WA

Ten years ago, Beerfarm was just a farm in Metricup, a first brew, and Ian Atkin’s vision to build something meaningful on this land in the South West of WA.

Somehow, that idea turned into Beerfarm.

To mark our 10th birthday, we’ve pulled together a short documentary that looks back on the beers, the people, the stories and the moments that shaped the last decade in the Margaret River region. It’s a reflection on where we started, how far we’ve come, and the community that’s grown alongside us.

The film revisits some big milestones, including brewing our very first Aussie Bitter again, and shines a light on the crew who’ve poured the beers, cooked the food, built the stages, hosted the events and kept the place ticking over. It’s also about the wider Beerfarm community: the locals, the travellers, the legends who’ve danced in the paddock, pulled up a stool at the bar, or made this place their local.

If you’ve ever had a beer here, worked a shift, brought your mates down south, or spent an afternoon stretching into evening at the Farm, this one’s for you.
