Aperitivo Sour

We love beers, we love cocktails but most of all we love sharing the experience with friends. This one is made with our good pals at Si Paridiso in Perth, who have just recently opened their second venue in Mt Lawley boasting a solid range of beers and a back bar to make your mouth drool. So what could we brew to reflect this new venture? Well, how about a sour beer to compliment all the aperitivos you can imagine.
Think Amaro-Fernet- or Campari…
This beer is a dry and refreshing Berlinerweiss loaded with 50kgs of blood orange sorbet, orange juice & zest. The orange and citrus were packed in along with a healthy load of rhubarb during the boil to help round off this very easy drinking and approachable sour….
It really is a hospo’s dream come true!

Malt – Pale Malt, Cara-Pils, Wheat malt
Hops – Magnum, Citra, Mosaic
Adjuncts - Blood Orange Sorbet, Orange Juice, Rhubarb, Orange Zest

Hop bitterness – Low ( 10 IBU)
Hop aroma –Low (1g/L)
Colour – Pale (14 EBC)
Drinkability – High
