RAISE THE STEAKS
Raise the Steaks is a unique dining experience we hold every Friday night, which focuses on seasonal and fresh ingredients and showcases the specialty large cuts from our own herd of Black Angus cattle. Having our livestock right here at the farm is not only the key to creating a premium end product… We know what they are being fed, where they roam and have a very clear insight into the supply chain, but it’s also good for the cows and even the land.

Due to the exceptionally busy time of year in the venue, there will be no Raise the Steaks dinners on the following dates during peak season from December 13th - January 10th.

Important Info
Raise the Steaks menu is pre-ordered. The menu will be emailed to you on Thursday at 10am before your booking. If you book after this time we will reach out to you as soon as possible. We sell out of our Large Cuts very quickly but will do everything we can to avoid you missing out!
Raise the Steaks dinner service is capped at 120 pax each evening and bookings are essential.
Raise The Steaks
Raise the Steaks is tailored to be a group dining experience- these huge quality cuts can feed 4-6pax easily- Shin, T-Bone and Ribeye. For smaller groups the Sirloin can serve 2-4pax
These premium cuts have been smoked low and slow in our smoker then finished over flame in our state of the art kitchen and served with a range of delicious sides: Triple cooked kipfler potatoes, Za’atar Cauliflower, shaved Fennel & Radish Salad and Corn Ribs.
The always impressive mammoth peanut mole smoked Beef Shin - serving 6-8pax, is accompanied by Tortillas, Corn and Black Bean Salsa, Mojo Verde and an array of other delicious garnishes.
Coming in a group to share this dining experience also ends up being a more economical price per head for an epic feed!
Paddock to Plate
The preparation for our Raise the Steaks dinner begins a few years before, when we raise the cattle here on the Farm.
At Beerfarm we have the space to employ Rotational Grazing….
What that means is that we can move the cows from paddock to paddock throughout the seasons.
This gives the grass more time to grow back which means better food for the cows, but it also improves the soil condition with the roots growing deeper generating more organic matter, helping water retention and reducing erosion.
Goodness of the Grain
Our herd of Black Angus Cattle also spend their days grazing and tucking into the spent grain leftover from the brew.
This stuff’s full of goodness!
There’s protein and fibre in the grain, vitamins and minerals from the yeast.
Every day we collect that grain and deliver it as a warm nutritious treat to our herd of Black Angus cattle.
We have approx 70 - 100 cattle at any one time, roaming the 180 acres of paddocks that surround the venue. The grain is a great supplement to the grass and means the beasts remain healthy and well fed, especially through the dryer months..

What are the Large Cuts?
We will have most of these quality cuts available for pre-order each week: Beef Shin, T-Bone, Sirloin and Ribeye.
We also have a slow cooked Lamb Shoulder as another large cut option
How do I pre-order a Large Cut?
- We email the large cuts available for pre-order to all the bookings at 5pm the Thursday night before your booking - please ensure you have put the best contact email with your booking.
- Please send through your large cut request in a timely manner as these sell out VERY QUICKLY
- Our Large Cuts are very limited and if you happen to miss out in the pre-order emails, we still have plenty of great things available on the special dinner menu that evening!

What if I miss out on a Large Cut?
Pre ordered Large Cuts usually sell out in minutes via the pre-order email system. But fear not if you happen to miss out, there are still plenty of dishes on the menu to choose from and enjoy on the night including our 300g Grass Fed Scotch Fillet. Other menu items do not require pre-order, you can order on the night.
Are there other Main Meals available?
Yes, the rest of the Raise the Steaks dinner menu features other delicious main meals and smaller sides. There is also always a tasty Scotch Fillet steak for the solo steak diner!
