Beerfarm Metricup Rodeo 2026 - A Huge Long Weekend on the Farm
Mar 05, 2026
The Beerfarm Metricup Rodeo 2026 delivered two full days of everything we love about hosting events on the farm: great people, epic beers, tasty eats, incredible talent, and a relaxed, fun community vibe.
The dust has settled (mostly), and the boots have been kicked off after a massive, long weekend at Beerfarm Metricup. From thrilling rodeo action to live music, line dancing, local food vendors and markets, thousands of locals and visitors came together to celebrate one of the most anticipated Margaret River region events of the year.
If you were there, you already know how good it was. If you missed it, here’s a look back at an unforgettable weekend on the farm.
This year, the arena was buzzing with a couple of extra things beyond the Rodeo action over the weekend. With sheep dog herding and a polo cross exhibition warming things up on Saturday before the Junior Rodeo.
Sunday morning provided the opportunity to stretch out at Pygmy Goat Yoga before the start of the full-point adult rodeo.
All weekend, as competitors took on the challenges of the rodeo circuit, bringing skill, grit and plenty of adrenaline to the farm. The level of competition was impressive, and the crowd were left well and truly impressed.

A big thank you to all the competitors who travelled to be part of the event, and the ABCRA and Double Barrel Entertainment for delivering another epic rodeo event.
Once the arena wrapped up each day, the energy carried straight through to the stage. A huge shout-out to the epic line-up of musicians who made sure the toe tappin' good tunes were in full swing every evening: Noah Young, Gotta Lovers, Claudia Tripp, Dallas, Dr Bogus, Brodie Loves, Emily Joy, Whiskey Jack, Legs Electric & Brothers In Arms.
Special mention the Line Dancers who lead the crowd in some expert-level boot-scootin' too!

From morning coffees through to late-night feeds, we had an outstanding crew of local food vendors who kept everyone fuelled over the big weekend.
Thanks to the legends serving up the goods all weekend: Little Hand Dumplings, MR Smash Burgers, Melt Method, Salento Pizza, Hooked Up Fish n Chips, Lil’ Pharaohs, Margaret River Roasting Co, Mai Tardi & The Beerfarm kitchen team.
Alongside these guys were our market stall holders, who made sure if you weren't already decked out for Rodeo fun when you arrived, you were when you left! Cheers for coming along: Green Duck Society, Bespoke Brims WA, Way Out West Outfitters, Southern Workwear, I-SEA / Roark.

One of the best things about hosting events on the farm is seeing the community come together to make it happen.
A huge thank you to our 2026 Beerfarm Rodeo sponsors for helping make the weekend possible: City of Busselton, Churchview Estate, Dunsborough & Districts Water Cartage, Sandgroper Contracting, Southern Workwear, Project Miles & Gannaways.
Finally, we want to thank the Beerfarm event team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, the incredible volunteers from the Cowaramup Lion’s Club, and all other crew & suppliers who helped keep the weekend running smoothly.
Events of this scale take a lot of people working together, and we’re grateful for every single one.

The 2026 Beerfarm Rodeo brought together rodeo action, live music, local food and the laid-back farm atmosphere we love sharing with the community.
With perfect weather, great crowds and an unbeatable vibe across the entire long weekend, it’s safe to say this one will be remembered for a while.
And yes… we’re already looking forward to bringing it all back next year.
Keep an eye out for when we announce the return of the Beerfarm Rodeo in 2027.
If you joined us on the farm this year, thank YOU for being part of the magic!
Catch you at the next one cowboys and cowgirls!
