The Hop Experiment:

Say Whaaaat? An East Coast Double IPA and a West Coast Double IPA - at the same time, in the same box??? YESSSS!!! The Hop Experiment is exactly what it says. An experiment to discover the most mouth-watering, tastebud-tantalising, mind-melting flavours we can muster! This series explores some of our favourite hops from across the globe and celebrates all their unique properties through the lens of both East and West coast IPAs. 

Expect luscious, bold, uncompromising West Coast flavours showcased against playful, pillowy trop-pop hazies!

EAST COAST DIPA EXP#1

CITRUS | TROPICAL | JUICY

This East Coast hazy is packed with Cashmere, Idaho 7 and Amarillo hops and doesn’t hold back with its juicy tropical citrus vibe. Berry, bubblegum, and stone fruit really get the party started and Verdant ale yeast gives us that soft and pillowy mouthfeel we love so much. Lots of wheat and rolled oats leave just the right balance of residual malt sweetness for this hop forward beast to shine.  

ABV: 7.8% Malts: Pale, Wheat, Rolled Oats Hops: Cashmere, Idaho 7, Amarillo Hop Bitterness: 20 IBU Hop Aroma: 8g/L Colour: Straw 7 EBC

WEST COAST DIPA EXP#1

BOLD | RESINOUS | CITRUS

This clean and bold West Coast is packed with Chinook, Centennial and Simcoe hops. Uncompromised resinous pine and citrus is lifted by hints of floral peach and berry. Yeast strain BRY-97 provides a neutral backdrop for the hops to shine and the residual malt sweetness balances perfectly with the more assertive bitterness of a classic West Coast.

ABV: 7.8% Malts: Pale, Wheat, Carapils, Premium English Caramalt Hops: Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe Hop Bitterness: 40 IBU Hop Aroma: 8g/L Colour: Straw 10 EBC
